VFAT

Short for Virtual File Allocation Table, the file system used in Windows for Workgroups and Windows 95. VFAT is the 32-bit version of the older file allocation table (FAT). Unlike the 16-bit FAT, VFAT supports long filenames.As of OSR 2 and Windows 98, VFAT has been extended with FAT32.
