Consultative Committee on International Telegraphy and Telephony - an international committee that sets the standards and makes recommendations for international communication.See: Comite Consultatif International de Telegraphique et Telephonique

This organization is part of the United National International Telecommunications Union (ITU) and is responsible for making technical recommendations about telephone and data communications systems.
