Windows DNA
Windows Distributed inter Net Applications bundling of Windows 2000, Host Integration Server 2000, Application Center 2000, BizTalk Server 2000, Commerce Server 2000, SQL Server 2000, Internet Security and Acceleration Server 2000, and Visual Studio 2000.  Microsoft hopes that many companies will soon tire of integrating best-of-breed products and will opt for an integrated solution. That's why the software vendor is preparing to release the components that make up its Windows DNA 2000 product group.  See Windows 2000 .
Short for Windows Distributed interNet Applications Architecture, a marketing name for a collection of Microsoft technologies that enable the Windows platform and the Internet to work together. Some of the principle technologies comprising DNA include ActiveX, Dynamic HTML (DHTML) and COM.
